Villa del Sueño means the “Villa of Dreams” and this lovely property was the vision of a Canadian couple from Montreal who loved to cook and make music. Villa del Sueño sits just a few steps from Playa Hermosa beach and is located directly behind Hotel Bosque del Mar. With two pools, one at the main hotel property near the restaurant and bar, and the other in a separate section called El Oasis where the suites are located. Howler monkeys can be heard and seen around Playa Hermosa, and with only 41 rooms & suites, this property gives a private feel. Many restaurants, a sports bar, and a grocery store are all just a short walk from the hotel, and Daniel Oduber International Airport (LIR) is less than 30 minutes away. Occasional live performances are given on the stage at the hotel, and the Grammy-winning instrumental trio, Editus, has played here several times. The restaurant is open during the low season for breakfast and the rest of the year for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menu features outstanding dishes ranging from fresh fish, vegetarian delights, and an exquisite pepper steak.
