begins at either the Palmar Sur or Drake Bay airports, then moves on to Drake’s Bay for four nights before returning to San Jose.

You have probably read about, heard about and seen movies about Corcovado,  the jungles, wildlife and rain forest of Costa Rica. In the past it was inaccessible or too expensive and time consuming. Those problems no longer exist and now with Bill Beard’s help you can enjoy this experience of a lifetime.

What to expect:

Begin your adventure at either the Palmar Sur or Drake Bay airports, where you will be transported by vehicle and boat to the lodge overlooking Drake Bay and the Pacific Ocean.

What to Bring

  • Proof of Scuba Diving Certification
  • Rain Poncho (have accessible on boat)
  • Long light pants
  • Long sleeved shirt
  • Bathing Suit
  • Hat, Visor or cap,
  • Rubber-soled shoes that can get wet (tevas, tennis shoes, river shoes, booties or similar)
  • Second Pair of Shoes so your others can dry
  • Sweater or Sweatshirt (for cool evenings), windbreaker
  • Waterproof sunscreen
  • Repellent
  • Other items you might like to bring: Refillable water bottle, flashlight,  extra batteries for your electronic devices, and binoculars, seabands, seasickness medication (if prone to seasickness), sudafed (if needed for sinuses), ear drops, mask defog
