Description
We take the Pan-American Highway to Alajuela City, passing by the international airport, the Juan Santamaría Monument and the famous Mango Park. On the way up to the Poás de Alajuela area we will stop for a brief explanation about our golden grain, coffee, also having the opportunity to take a photograph of the central valley and the coffee plantation.
We will continue the tour through crops of ferns, flowers and strawberries. We will continue our way to La Paz Waterfalls, upon arrival we will walk along a beautiful path, which leads to different attractions of the park including the aviary, the largest butterfly observatory in the country, the hummingbird gallery, the serpentarium, the frog, monkey and feline exhibition.
Eventually a delicious buffet lunch awaits us in the middle of the rainforest, at the end of lunch we will take a walk where we can visit three impressive natural waterfalls formed by the La Paz River itself.
It is worth noting that this hike takes place in the tropical rainforest sector and consists of steps in some parts of the route, said trail is paved.
